Molesworth’s Bach has a new potbelly stove soon!
Everyone who visits Great Barrier Island loves it, but when it is cold and windy and damp, it can be a little harder to love! With that in mind, Molesworth has gone out and bought the place a Morsø 1410 potbelly stove, (the one at the top of the page) which according to the sales literature, with not only create a warm and cosy atmosphere, but you can cook on top of it too!
We secretly think that Molesworth bought this one because of the kooky cast-iron squirrel on the side, but he ain’t telling. Expect to have a warm, cosy stove heating up your stay at Molesworth’s Bach by mid-October 2011.

Molesworth’s is a holiday home perched on a hill overlooking Mulberry Beach, not far from Tryphena and the ferry dock from Auckland. Molesworth’s has two bedrooms, comfortably sleeping four – perfect for a family. The house has a large yard for games and kicking back, with a small private garden at the rear for a quiet coffee and newspaper in the morning.
